We measure every room, check the floor is level within 3 mm over 2 m and test concrete for moisture. You get a written quote.

Settle the boards
The boxes are left flat in the rooms so the boards adjust to your home's temperature and humidity.

Install
A moisture barrier and underlay go down first, then the boards are clicked together with staggered joints and a gap at every wall.
- 4Same day
Finish
Threshold strips are fitted at doorways and the floor is cleaned. Skirting or scotia is optional.

Allow extra time where screeding, moisture barriers or old floor removal are needed.
Before we start
A few things that keep the job on time and the result right.
- Clear the rooms of furniture and breakables, or ask us to quote moving it
- Concrete floors must be dry: new screeds need about 1 day per mm to dry
- The floor must be flat. Hollows over 3 mm are filled before laying
- Not for wet areas such as bathrooms. Choose SPC or LVT there

Can laminate go over my existing tiles?
Yes, if the tiles are sound, flat and firmly bonded. Deep grout lines are filled first and we still lay the moisture barrier and underlay.
Do I need skirting?
Laminate needs an expansion gap at the walls, so the edge must be covered. We fit new skirting or a scotia bead over your existing skirting.
How soon can I move furniture back?
Straight away. Use felt pads under furniture legs to protect the surface.
