Who we are
Imbiza Flooring (Pty) Ltd (registration number 2024/170492/07) is the responsible party for personal information collected through this website and in the course of our business. Our Information Officer can be contacted at info@imbizaflooring.co.za.
What we collect
- Details you give us: your name, phone number, email address, property or project address, and details about your project, including photos and plans you upload.
- Quote basket: the products and quantities you add. These are stored in your own browser until you send a request, and are not sent to us before then.
- Communication: emails, WhatsApp messages and call notes when you contact us.
- Technical information: our website host records basic technical data such as IP address and browser type to keep the site secure and working. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies.
How we use it
- To respond to your enquiry, arrange a site measure and prepare your quote
- To process orders, deliveries, installations and payments
- To manage guarantee and manufacturer warranty claims
- To keep records we are required to keep by law, such as tax invoices
- To send you occasional news or offers, only if you have agreed to this, and you can opt out at any time
Who we share it with
We never sell or rent your information. We share only what is needed with:
- Our installers and delivery partners, so they can do the job
- Suppliers and manufacturers, when ordering special stock or lodging a warranty claim
- Service providers who help us run the business, such as email, website hosting and accounting, who must keep it confidential
- Authorities, where the law requires it
Some of these providers, such as our website host and email provider, may store information on servers outside South Africa. We only use providers with adequate data protection in place, as POPIA requires.
How long we keep it
We keep enquiry information for as long as needed to follow up your quote, and customer records for at least 5 years to meet tax and accounting rules and to support guarantee claims. After that it is securely deleted.
Keeping it safe
We use reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your information against loss, misuse and unauthorised access, and we limit access to people who need it.
Your rights
You have the right to:
- Ask what personal information we hold about you, and request a copy
- Ask us to correct or delete it
- Object to us using it, including for direct marketing
- Withdraw your consent where we rely on it
Email info@imbizaflooring.co.za and we will respond within 30 days. If you are not satisfied with our response, you may lodge a complaint with the Information Regulator of South Africa at inforegulator.org.za.
Browser storage
Your quote basket is saved in your browser's local storage so it is still there when you come back. You can clear it at any time from the basket page or your browser settings.

We may update this policy. The latest version is always on this page.
