Pinelands Staircase: Aspen Project Vinyl

The brief

A Pinelands home wanted its staircase to carry the same warm, natural look as the rest of the floors, but built to take daily foot traffic without the treads chipping or wearing at the edges. The finish had to be practical and clean-lined, with a crisp edge on every step.

What we did

We clad the stairs in Aspen Project vinyl in the colour Swedish Oak, a soft, warm oak tone that reads as natural timber. Each tread and riser was finished with bronze stair nosing and matching angle trims, giving every step a clean, protected edge that stands up to wear and quietly lifts the look. The vinyl is fully waterproof and hard-wearing, ideal for a busy stairway.

Why the nosing matters: stair edges take the most wear in any home. A proper bronze nosing and angle trim protects that edge, adds grip underfoot and finishes the step neatly, so the staircase looks sharp and lasts.
