The brief

A Constantia home had an existing engineered wood floor that had lost its lustre over the years. Brought in by Davids Tilers, we were asked to bring it back, without the cost, mess and waste of tearing it out and starting again.

What we did

Because a quality engineered floor has a real timber wear layer, it can be sanded and re-finished. We machine-sanded the 80 m² back to clean, bare wood, taking out the surface wear and marks, then re-sealed it to an even, protected finish that brought the grain and colour back to life.

A clean, even, freshly sealed wood floor across the home, the original floor looking its best again, ready for years more use.
